Given a cast of 5, I was tasked with creating an adaption of two texts/ artworks/ events to create one 15-20 minute piece, I decided to create a movement piece about the event of Rosa Parks sitting on the bus, merged with the regimented and hostile world of George Orwell's 1984. I wanted to investigate what happens when people in society don't stick to the regimented rules of society and break away from society's expectations.
