I am a BAME performance artist, who specialises in photography, videography and the research of race politic and stereotyping within our modern day society. My work aims to tackle labelling and tries to trigger a need for change of society in the minds of audiences, as people are likely to want to take a stand when they have their own ultimate realisation. With a choreographic identity merged with the use of fitting music and sound, I like to create work which speaks to audiences on topics such as racial injustice, being treated as ‘Other’ and making the journey to equality.
